During our color selection design process someone will always ask, "Is this us? Is this mero?" And that is because color is our personal story. It is part of the core identity of the brand and how we shape our aesthetic. We use color to create freshness within the baby category that commonly uses primary and pastel colors.

inspiration
Our source of inspiration comes from a broad definition of "design culture". We closely reference fashion and interior design trends as well as source from our daily lives, recent interests, and from other creative industries. The winning color must always spark an emotional reaction with a hint of surprise.

personality profile
The process starts with a 'mama style' personality profile to decide the general direction. Then we search for samples for the production team to match. Often we areunable to find the exact shade we imagine within our Pantone book and need to go out into the world to find 'the one'. The design team gathers products in various shade to audition for the final. Our approach creates a trendy yet timeless palette that is a snapshot of our lives at that moment.
